Because a yacht is exposed to different weather conditions during navigation, a good paint and varnish is required. For optimum quality it is important that the paint is applied on a well-sanded surface. High quality abrasives should certainly not be missed. And that’s where the Kovax products come into the picture. Quality at the highest level.

Our products are developed with the aim to achieve an optimal result with surprisingly little labor time. In this way, yacht builders are able to produce a larger number of yachts on an annual basis.

For the exterior and the interior of the yacht, we offer a comprehensive range of abrasives, which are ideal for polyester and wood surfaces. We recommend our Buflex Dry and Yellow Film systems. Those systems are perfect for the removal of heavily soiled surfaces or very fine scratches. Repainting afterwards is not necessary!

Another recommended product in this industry is our Maxcut series. After painting, a protective layer is needed to protect the paint from the harmful effects of water. This layer can barely be sanded with conventional abrasives. But it’s not a problem for the Maxcut products thanks to the specially hardened Aluminium oxide grains. Furthermore, the open structure prevents clogging effectively.

Finally, use our polish system for the finishing touch and it will make your yacht look as new again!
